This is well out of date as I copied it from my old WordPress, I got first class honours, and I now live in India. I like it.

Hello!

I'm just an ordinary guy who enjoys writing a little. I live in Australia, in a 70's unit with my two flat-mates, and I'm not too far from a nice park, I like kites.

This, folks, is my WordPress. This is my happy-yay soapbox where one Richard Medland, thats me, enjoys writing at unnecessary length about anything that springs to mind. You can expect me to cover things I experience; am amused by; that rub me the wrong way; or find the time to write on.

You might be a little bit confused as to why I've called my WordPress 'codepuppy', instead of something 'cool' with a K in it, or an X in it, or something Japanese, or maybe something with an acrobats name in it, something like that. It all comes down to me thinking at one time or another that it was pretty distinct name and usually hardly anyone refers to me as MrCP: I'm usually Bink, or just plain old Richard.

In my spare time (which my Honours year sucks endlessly) I like to make stuff. I've been collecting and crafting various musical things for some years now, making compilations, and being introduced, usually through friends, to new artists and pretty much anything I've managed to lay my grubby mitts on. It totally threw me when I changed from using a Compact Disc to using an MP3, the size and amount of songs you had access to were astronomical. Then again, I was only something like thirteen or fourteen at the time... Pretty easily thrown. My creations are usually complete pants, but occasionally they're interesting enough so that people yell down my ear sufficiently so that I upload it and you at home can enjoy it too.

Also, I like to think I can play tennis and I love my Barking Spider, Titus. Someday, I hope to turn my attention to learning to play a whole number of instruments, like the piano, the flute. Maybe I'll write a novel, or learn how to sail a Yacht around the world, or take a trip to space to draw pictures like a kid.

I believe in free speech, and free trade, and I'm a firm believer in filesharing.

Some folks think I've got The Skills, and that's probably true, but I owe way too much of what I know to a bunch of cool people whom I'll never meet, but they know who they are. Kudos to them.

Plus, I've been described as looking like a warped cross between Curt Russel, Jason Statham and Brad Pitt.
